Sonia Hayer
Sonia is a litigator at heart. Her primary areas of focus include civil, family, and wills and estates law. She is skilled in all levels of court and enjoys advocating fiercely for her clients. Sonia has conducted numerous trials, hearings, discoveries, mediations, and collaborative meetings. Sonia graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from UBC and went on to graduate from the University of Victoria law school. She articled with a small downtown firm focusing on family and child protection matters, She practiced for some time in the tri-cities area. Sonia's passion has been to give back to her community by helping individuals navigate the legal system and access to justice. She works as a duty counsel roster lawyer in the lower mainland and continues to give back to the community she was born and raised in. Sonia is fluent in both Punjabi and Hindi. In her spare time, Sonia is involved with the legal services society, the trial lawyers association, and the South Asian Bar Association.
